About Us
Mission: The mission of the Babson College Black Student Union is threefold: Foster a sense of community among the students at Babson that self-identify as Black/African American or have ancestral connections to the African Diaspora, while concurrently serving as a source of academic empowerment and professional development. Uphold the following 3 Pillars of the Black Student Union: Community Building; Academic, Classroom Empowerment & Excellence (ACEE); Professional Development Educate and share the heritage of the African Diaspora with all members of the Babson Community, regardless of race, color, ethnicity, or socioeconomic background. As a student organization at Babson College, it is our goal to continuously empower a ripe generation of black business and entrepreneurial leaders who will make lasting economic and social change in the world. The Black Student Union ("BSU") is also a part of the collective of Black organizations on campus including BWEL, BASO, BEN and more
