Plot Synopsis:
A Japanese movie night featuring the third largest grossing anime movie of all time, Your Name, created by renowned director and writer, Makoto Shinkai. It depicts a high school boy in Tokyo and a high school girl in the Japanese countryside who suddenly and inexplicably begin to swap bodies. When a dazzling comet lights up the night's sky, something shifts, and they seek each other out wanting something more - a chance to finally meet. But try as they might, something more daunting than distance prevents them. Is the string of fate between Mitsuha and Taki strong enough to bring them together, or will forces outside their control leave them forever separated? Watch to find out!
This film is beloved by audiences worldwide, with praise for the animation, music, visuals, and emotional weight. We know it will be a fun movie to watch together with the Babson community!
