Welcome to the Fall 2026 semester. To those returning, we're glad to have you back, and to those joining BAIA for the first time, we're glad you're here. We have a full calendar planned across all four divisions and are looking forward to the months ahead.
There are two opportunities we'd like to bring to your attention.
E-BOARD APPLICATIONS
Applications are now open for the following positions:
• Hedge Fund Division — Vice President
• Digital Assets Division — Vice President
• Trading Division — Vice President
• Private Markets Division — Division Chair and Vice President
Each role carries responsibility for its division's programming and direction over the course of the year. We'd encourage anyone interested in taking on a leadership role within the association to apply.

CAPITAL MARKETS ACCELERATOR PROGRAM
We're also pleased to share that applications for the Capital Markets Accelerator Program are now open.
CAPMAP is an eight-week program designed for students beginning their journey in finance, particularly freshmen and sophomores exploring careers in capital markets and those looking to build a foundation in valuing securities and understanding how capital is allocated. The curriculum is as follows:
Week 1 — Foundations of Accounting, Finance & Capital Markets
Week 2 — Financial Instruments & Derivatives
Week 3 — Market Structure & Price Discovery
Week 4 — Valuation Principles & Investment Theory
Week 5 — Risk, Portfolio Theory & Behavioral Finance
Week 6 — Macroeconomics & Global Capital Flows
Week 7 — Investment Research, Thesis Development & Communication
Week 8 — Capstone Investment Presentations
Participants also receive mentorship from the division, deliver investment pitches throughout the program, and complete a final capstone presentation.
Please note that the selection process is competitive. Approximately 20% of applicants were admitted last semester, and we'd encourage candidates to be thoughtful and deliberate in preparing their submissions.
